We’re excited to announce this event ✨ Join us for two full days of live music at the Hostel Cafe!

This community gathering supports events and program💛, with live music all day Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 12pm–9pm. With international travel down this year, we’re asking for a little extra community support to help keep our hostel and cafe thriving 🙏🏠

Come catch some of your favorite local performers, invite friends, enjoy food and drinks from Hostel Cafe, and enter for a chance to win raffle prizes!

No rsvp needed and all are welcome for this free event! (donations appreciated)

We’re so happy to have volunteered in the Reining Roses Mother’s Day Walk yesterday in support of our neighbors at Rose Haven.

Our team, including our café manager Calli, was even featured on KOIN 6, which was a fun moment!

Thank you so much to Bryant Perkins, Brooke McKelvey, Stephane Leuenberger and Cloudbeds, for producing this documentary and taking the time to tell the story of our hostel. We’ve loved being part of the Portland community for nearly 30 years, and appreciate you helping share the belief that hostels are so much more than just places to sleep - they’re places for connection, community, and shared experiences.

Like many businesses connected to international travel, we’ve felt the impact of changing travel trends over the past few years. One of the biggest things that has helped keep our doors open has been the support of our local community, whether referring us, visiting the cafe, attending events, collaborating with us, or simply continuing to spread the word about what we do.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped this space continue to grow and evolve, and we look forward to welcoming both travelers and locals for many years ahead 💛
