Our single barrel of Westward Whiskey has just arrived. Our neighbors just to the west make a fantastic spirit and we’re happy to be using it in our Slow Bar Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. Come try one!

We are looking for a Bartender Sunday through Tuesday 10:30am to 4:30pm. Please drop us a resume if interested.

Our Mercury highball week offering is the Roisin Dubh. It’s flavor is both Irish and Jamaican with the kick you’d expect from the offspring of two islands that have fought colonization and delivered music representing that drive for independence. So, f**k yeah Thin Lizzy, f**k yeah Jamaican spice, and f**k yeah the opportunity to enjoy both flavors at a bar for $6 a pour.

Our community lost a legend today. The last 10+ years he was a fixture in our neighborhood and always a treat to have him stop in for a quick drink or a bite to eat. Our hearts go out to his family and Heidi and all his band mates over the years. There’s a huge gap in the Portland rock scene tonight that will never be filled the way Sam did. (That was not a drumming pun) Thank you Sam Henry for decades of keeping the music heavy and the conversation light.
