BUCKEYE GET TOGETHER & BAR CRAWL
Saturday, May 30th 1:00PM to 4:00PM

Let’s get together for a NE Alberta Bar Crawl. Last year’s event was extremely fun and provided a great opportunity to meet other Buckeyes. Bring your family and friends as all are welcome! To help us plan, you are encouraged to register in advance.

Entry fee is $10 (payment below) which gets you:
Raffle ticket for a bottle of Seven Bridges “Inaugural Buckeye Blend” wine valued at $50
Free commemorative Ohio State gift
Entry into three (3) bars
Wine drawing will occur at Great Notion. Unable to attend and want a chance to win? You can still buy a $10 raffle ticket; payment details below.

Bar Crawl Details:
Alleyway – 2415 NE Alberta Street 1:00-2:00pm
Knock Back – 2315 NE Alberta Street 2:00-3:00pm
Great Notion – 2204 NE Alberta Street 3:00-4:00pm
Each location has a full bar and food.
WE ENCOURAGE ALL PARTICIPANTS TO DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND TAKE AN UBER/LYFT.

As the bars asked for an estimated headcount, registration is encouraged by Wednesday, 5/27.

We will be assisting FISH volunteers in sorting/boxing food donations that they received via a June food collection/donation event. We have done this in the past and it’s a fun event! More information to follow.

IT’S PLAYOFF TIME!! HELP US RNG IN THE NEW YEAR WITH A COTTON BOWL WIN!!

Please join us next Wednesday, December 31st at the Independent Sports Bar as our #2 ranked The Ohio State Buckeyes battle the #10 Miami Hurricanes in the Cotton Bowl. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30pm Pacific.

The Independent has 34 screens, 20 rotating taps, and a full kitchen menu plus it’s a family-friendly establishment. There will also be weekly cocktail and beer specials that will be listed on your table’s menu tent.

This year, in addition to our regular weekly raffles, we will have several elevated raffles with autographed items from Emeka Egbuka and Jack Sawyer and other high-value items to raise money for our scholarship and events fund. We will announce these special raffles on this page.

Depending on the size of the crowd Saturday, we will be raffling off an Emeka Egbuka autographed authentic jersey.

PORTLAND BUCKEYES SHOT GLASSES AND $2 SHOTS!!
Buy a Portland Buckeyes shot glass (while they last) for $5 and then buy a shot for $2 whenever the Game Watch Coordinator determines that we need a shot (i.e., touchdown, end of game). The Independent is working with us to come up with a list of different boozes for each game. Once the GWC yells “Buy A Shot” the servers will walk around and pour a shot for a $2 cash. Once you own a shot glass, bring it with you to future games. If you purchased a shot glass during our May Bar Crawl, bring it with you! Please drink responsibly and respect the decision of the Independent to end the program when they deem it necessary.
