COLLABORATION BETWEEN PROCESSWOKERS ON CREATING DIALOGUE ON THE TOPIC OF MIGRATION
For two years, a group of processworkers have been working on a joint project on creating dialogue in the field of migration. They saw a polarized field and wanted to involve the people that we don't often hear from - the refugees/migrants and the social workers.
In the countries involved in the project - Germany, Italy, Spain, Schwitzerland and Denmark - Open Forums and workshops were held. There were many deep conversations around the topic of home, migration and responsibility, hopelessness and hope and racism and discrimination, including our own work on our inner racism.
As a result of the project, learning materials were developed that gives ideas and concrete tools on how to use Process Work in the field of migration. The materials include a toolkit, a training programme and an Open Forum Kit.
The materials can be downloaded and used by everybody, and the project partners hope that the materials could be useful to other processworkers as well.
Here is a link to the materials: https://tildeproject.org/materials/ They are available in five different languages, including an easy reading version.
The project was supported by the European Union. The organisations involved were: Altekio Spain and Schwitzerland, Impuls, Comunitazione, Xena and Deep Democracy Denmark.
