We have some AWESOME NEWS! 🥳
We have 3 phenomenal singers performing at Independence Day Celebration 🎉
We’re going to take some time to introduce (or reintroduce) a few of these wonderful people!
Dana Douglass, a soprano from Maine, has been applauded for her dedication to her art since she first took the stage. Most recently, Dana has been seen as Bianca and Gabriella in Puccini’s La Rondine and the thrilling role of Mrs. Grose in Benjamin Britten’s Turn of the Screw in an entirely virtual production, both produced by Peabody Conservatory. For this event, Dana will be performing a set of songs by the American composer Marion Bauer; 'Gold of the Day and Night', and 'The Epitaph of a Butterfly'. Additionally, she will sing the aria 'Ain't it a Pretty Night' from Carlisle Floyd's Susannah.
soprano we are so happy to have you join us for this event!
