Thank you to all the many, many nice, interesting and enthusiastic people who visited us at Drawing Now Paris. It was a pleasure to meet you. Some invited us to special places, such as the apartment of the writer, poet, musician, craftsman and supporter of American jazz musicians Miles Davis and Duke Ellington and others. It was particularly touching to us because Boris Vian died too soon and although he had friends and some recognition while he was living, he became more famous and admired after he died. It seems that is true of Dan May. The French artists, collectors and institutional individuals so admire and understand Dan's art. We were thanked and thanked for exhibiting D.E.May's "beautiful, simple, sensitive art, their favorite of all".
All the four different books we brought to the fair were purchased until we ran out. Probably 50 books. The sculptures and wall collages collectors purchased will live on in Paris. We hope somehow Dan knows, his friends and supporters will. #
