I'm a technical writer by trade, for 30 years, and love writing! My current gig is compliance writing at an electric utility! It's fun for me because it's storytelling for a technical audience.

There are a lot of steps in creating interesting and shareable content your readers find value. You need a catchy headline, an intriguing story-line, and a way to distribute it. However, authenticity and credibility are sometimes taken for granted or gets lost in the day-to-day chores of content creation.

I've been learning about social media marketing over last 6 years. I created this site to share what I've learned. This will also help me meet other digital marketers because I am currently working on marketing training course to be offered in 2022!

Are you figuring out how to establish your digital marketing business?

This Facebook site is meant to share information about building an internet marketing business. I plan to post here as a way to share what I’ve learned over the last 6+ years following and learning from digital marketing trainers, designers and developers.

First, I’d like to share that implementing a digital marketing business can be overwhelming, but not because of a lack of information, tools, techniques, skills or solutions. Instead, it’s likely from a lack of a clearly defined process to design, develop, and manage your digital business "ecosystem" as that’s what hinders most people.

Thankfully, you can significantly reduce the number of options to consider when building you digital footprint in the online market, if you take the time to create a roadmap that outlines what you have, what you want, and what is right for your business.

The good news is that the digital marketing niche is built using great tools and ideas that help you determine “how and what” you uniquely need “know and do” in order to “create and drive” your very own successful online business.

Before you jump in, I’d suggest is to make time to map out your “resources”, plans and goals because it’ll help you successfully establish your digital marketing platform.

Also, consider the resources you have and those you need, like financial, material, living, social, spiritual, experiential, intellectual and cultural that you feel characterize your vision in starting a digital marketing business!

Use Visio or PowerPoint to create a visual roadmap. Grab a sheet of paper and crayons to create a mind map and tape it to the wall so you see it every day!
