¿quieres ir a la panadería? 🥐✨

Storytelling is such a huge part of my illustration and design work. Behind almost everything I create, there’s a story, a memory, and an intention. My process always starts with creative thinking, brainstorming, and discovering the “why” behind the piece. Of course, sometimes I doodle just to doodle, but most of the time my work is rooted in meaning and personal experiences.

Going to the panadería growing up always felt special. It was little celebration, a moment of comfort, and way to bring joy into the week. Pam Dulce holds so many memories for me. I still laugh thinking about the time my abuela sent me a care package in college with a co**ha bigger than my face; honestly that co**ha got me through the week haha. Or the times my mom would crave empanadas de calabaza and ask me to go pick some up. Even going with friends after school to grab a sweet treat became a memory I cherish.

And if there wasn’t a school lunch tray and metal tongs to grab my pan dulce… I already knew it just wasn’t going to hit the same. ✨
