Jesus is the Center of centers, the Son where our lives revolve around.
If we want to see the God who cannot be seen, all we have to do is look to Jesus. Christ is the living, visible image of the invisible God. Instead of just telling us about the nature of God, God sent his one and only Son to show us an exact representation of his character through the life and ministry of Jesus. He demonstrated what a God of love truly looks like. Everything Jesus did while here on earth showed us the compassionate heart of the Father, who yearns to be the one to whom we run for comfort and forgiveness. Thank you, Jesus, for being the very image of our God, and showing us who we truly are. Thank you for making it possible for us to live in right relationship with our loving God. Heavenly Father, comfort us as we crawl into your lap for some much needed rest.

Ordinary Time is when we focus on how we participate in the life and mission of our Lord, how we grow in discipleship and fellowship, and how we mature as believers. This Trinity Sunday, we celebrate our union and relationship with the Father, Son, and Spirit, growing our wisdom and finding delight in the joy of God’s creation.
