Young Survivors Portland
The Young Survivors group was founded in July 2003 by Heather K. Hill, who was diagnosed in 2001 at age 27. Heather learned she had mets in 2008 and passed away in April 2011. Her legacy lives on through this informal network of breast cancer survivors who meet to share stories, ask questions and offer their support to one another. The group is led by a volunteer survivor and is not facilitated by a professional counselor.
