We are working to stabilize a situation we just became aware of with 20-30 dogs being kept by a well intended but uneducated and under resourced “rescuer” in Guatemala. Please read the details in the photos as to why we are not pursuing alternative interventions and remember the resources available there. This is a delicate balance as we work to maintain communication and access with the people involved who can easily and quickly bar us from the property which would escalate the situation drastically and may not end up in the best interest of the dogs.
