CONVERGE 45
05/23/2026
Big news for Portland—and for ! 🗞️✨
We are honored to be featured in as we reveal the artist list and theme for our 2026 Triennial: “Here, To You, Now.”
Curated by the visionary Lumi Tan, this edition brings together a powerhouse group of artists to explore concepts of impermanence and shared presence across 16 venues in Portland.
As Lumi Tan puts it, this triennial is about the “knowledge that temporary communities hold” and creating a “citywide exhibition that reflects the specificities of the region.”

What remains of a collective memory when the physical record vanishes? 🕊️
Join artist Rose Salane this Saturday for a one-day-only participatory intervention at Pioneer Place. Known for her work with the “hauntology” of objects—the way discarded or lost items carry the weight of past lives—Salane invites you to view a pair of shoes worn by Princess Diana.
In 1997, Portlanders gathered at Pioneer Courthouse Square to sign a book of condolences that was later lost to history. Salane’s event isn’t just a viewing; it’s a civic act to replace what was lost. Learn more about Portland’s lost archives in our bio ☝️Come contribute your reflections to a new archive that will form part of her commissioned work for the 2026 Triennial.
