🌹 This is what life has looked like lately

🌹 Slow. Surrendered. Navigating so much newness and healing on broken sleep

🌹 Our little Zaia is growing too quickly already and I’m constantly needing to remind myself to be present and soak up every minute

🌹 The immediate postpartum has not been easy; from thrush to rashes and food sensitivities to her gas pains and my slow surgery recovery… we have been beyond grateful and reliant on our community (thank you to everyone who donated to our meal train in any way!)

🌹Our families have been supporting us daily- from food to cleaning and other household jobs I haven’t been physically able to do yet; to driving Zaia and me to our various appointments. Dean and I are eternally grateful🫶🏼 My incredible sister was home from France for 3 weeks to help take care of us right after our birth (and we miss her so much now!)

🌹 Zaia’s birth story is a doozy. It’s not what we planned (said every mom ever) and it was the most intense portal/trauma Dean and I have ever gone through

🌹 I’m feeling ready to share about it more and will likely share about it in both a post and maybe a live as well at some point in the not-too-distant future. Stay tuned on my stories for more 🫶🏼
