How it's not that different from Waitressing.

Early in my table-waiting career, I learned one of the most valuable lessons of my life:

Never walk anywhere empty handed.
Ever.

This sage wisdom has become invaluable to me as a parent.
One day of walking around my house empty handed can lead to utter chaos.
And if you think that teens are less messy than toddlers, sorry, you're just wrong.

The most important part of this wisdom -- passing it on.
To them.
Once they get it, I'll teach them the one (and only) way to load the dishwasher.
Just sayin...
