The 2026 trail work season has officially started! 🥾⚒️✨

3 days on the closed Eagle Creek trail working a scree slide tread repair with . Lots of rain, sunshine, waterfalls, poison oak, hundreds of ticks, tiger butterflies, gear I forgot to bring… red flowering currant, even false some morel mushrooms!

We had freezing temps the first night, which no amount of down can conquer… but the views were immaculate the rest of the trip, and seeing the early spring blooming colors during this precious short window apart from the summer crowds felt like such a sweet little gift.

Grateful for this incredible crew, and opportunity to support nature restoration in such a fun way. Ahhh… spring is officially here! ✨✨✨
