Our first foray into custom molded trims is our brass logo zipper puller. We chose brass as an aesthetic nod to the lost wax casting tradition made famous by works from the Bini Kingdom and others. The zipper is made with a 100% cotton tape and is hand dyed to match the rest of the garment. During the dyeing process, the metal picks up a bit of a patina giving it a slightly aged look that we love. Pictured here with an Eben ceremonial sword (Nigeria) and a Bamana figure (Mali).
