@garwillg05 from Declo High School @declofootball in Idaho is a class of 2024 QB and also plays middle linebacker on defense. Will's Sophmore season threw him into the spotlight. He played JV for half of the season and was called up in game 6 to Varsity. In Will's second game as the varsity starter he threw for 294 yards and played through to the State Quarterfinals where his team lost a heartbreaker on a last second hail mary, Will had 209 yards, 1 passing TD and 1 Rushing TD.

Will's dream is to play D1 college football, his favorite schools are @boisestatefootball @msubobcatsfb @usufootball and @wsucougarfb he plans on working hard in his final two years of high school football to earn his spot.

When asked what his biggest strength is, he says "my biggest strength is being a natural born leader and my ability to read the field." Will also said the word that best describes him is "Determined."

His favorite quote was one his coach told him before the state quarterfinals "Get comfortable with being uncomfortable."

Will loves being on a football team because he loves the bonds you make with the other players that turn into a brotherhood, that feeling you get on Friday nights when your whole home town is in the stands and all the summer workouts and team dinners.

WIll's favorite sports hero is Pat Tillman, he was an amazing football, but he gave it up to serve his country and paid the ultimate price, Will was clear that it doesn't go unrecognized with him. WiIll said his dad was the most inspirational to him as a young athlete.

Will has two favorite moments so far as football player. First, when he was called into the coach's office and he told he was starting varsity the next week, and second, on the first drive of his first varsity game he started he threw a 53 yard pass for a @touchdown.

Last, will said what inspires him everyday is trying to do what he is capable of and getting 1% better everyday.

We are super excited to see what Will does with a full Varsity season this fall, we will be watching.
