I had a great time this past weekend attending ‘s state conference at ! It was an informative and restorative event held in a peaceful atmosphere 😌

The conference was overall well organized and informative. I was able to take 3 different continuing education classes at the conference that will help me bring more knowledge and tools into my practice. It was also great to mingle and meet LMT’s from all over the state of Oregon.

I’ve been a member of since I was in massage school at . While the large majority of LMT’s will never need to use their massage specific insurance (hopefully!), it’s good to have it *just in case*. And in Oregon it’s required by law that all active LMT’s are insured. I’m glad AMTA is not only my insurance company, but a place I can look to for resources for things like this.

I’m excited to bring all that I’ve learned over the weekend into my practice and offer a safer, healthier, and more informed space for healing.
