If there is a crack in the foundation and somebody says I'm not going to fix the crack, it's too expensive, so I'm just going to cement over it. We all know what happens... The crack telescopes up to the second piece of concrete, and it goes on and on. It's not necessarily the case that each system that gets on top of this one is as flawed or as vulnerable as the one at the bottom. Each system that gets on top of that is impacted...the impact comes from the original injury. Even when we help that injury heal, we still know cracks have formed along the way. We can go back to that and explore it with the parts. What's it been like for you to try so hard to fix that original crack?
