If personal fireworks are part of your holiday weekend plans, here are a few simple reminders that can make a big difference:

☑ Adult supervision is essential.
☑ Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
☑ Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby.
☑ Give sparklers plenty of space.
☑ If the noise or crowds become overwhelming, it's okay to take a break.
