The Boise encaustic and gel plate workshops are full! My workshop partner and host, Tilley Bubb, is taking names for a wait list in case anyone falls off and, if you're interested, for future workshops!

TILLEY BUBB Encaustic Workshops: All levels Encaustic Exploration with hot wax, collage materials, and image transfers. Experiment with paper, fabric and wax. Learn the basics, have fun and leave with two-four finished pieces.

Friday will be our last day in the studio. If anyone is interested in the space, contact us at [email protected] and we'll pass it on to the landlord. It's a great space, a storefront with a bathroom, huge windows facing east, a three compartment sink and 220v (which a prior tenant ran a kiln on) in the back, on NE Cesar Chavez Blvd near the intersection of Broadway, Sandy and Cesar Chavez, right next to the James Beard nominated Gado Gado.

Another studio has been buying materials and supplies and a little of the furniture, everything left will be available for the free picking tomorrow starting at 1PM at 1805 NE Cesar Chavez. We have a big, brown corduroy sofa with accent pillows, changing table with pad, small student computer desk, a long wood sales counter with storage in the back, a shorter glass top and front sales counter, and an arched reception counter, two 6" folding tables left, a nice yellow chest of drawers, black end or night tables with drawers, and a lot of miscellaneous odds and ends to make things with.
