Seeing Sticky Fingers at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland was something I’d waited seven years for—and it was absolutely worth it.
The energy, the sound, and that iconic bouncy floor made the whole night feel alive. I fell in love with the vintage, old-world vibe of the venue just as much as the music itself.
Freddy Crabs didn’t disappoint, and Claude was incredible live.
And when they played Not Done Yet…
that moment meant everything.
That song carried me through my cancer journey, and hearing it live felt like coming full circle in the most beautiful way.
Some moments stay with you forever ✨

Happy FULL Moon🖤🌚
The word lunatic comes from Luna, Latin for “moon.” Ancient Greeks and Romans believed full moons could disturb the mind’s humors, especially if one slept under its light.
Even in medieval Europe, physicians noted “moonstruck” patients whose symptoms “waxed and waned” — a phrase still used today.

Modern studies haven’t found strong evidence of the full moon causing madness, but subtle correlations have been noted:

Slightly less deep sleep and more waking time during full moons in some studies.

Slight variations in animal behavior (e.g., coral spawning, lion hunting patterns, even hospital birth rates).

 The “Wishing Moon” Phenomenon
An old English superstition said that if you see the full moon through glass (a window) for the first time in a month, your luck will turn — unless you turn around three times and bow.
Conversely, if you first see it in open air and make a wish, it’s said to be granted before the next full moon.
