Leading With Gratitude & Empathy:

There is so much going on around the world, in our communities, and our own lives. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by it all and often ask myself what role I may play to contribute to positive solutions.

The wars in Ukraine, Ethopia, the Sudan, the Middle East, and more— have extraordinary negative impact on our lives no matter where we might live or what we do, or what we believe in.

Each one of us are a part of the 7+ billion humans on the planet and I believe that our actions have power to make a positive difference in small and big ways.

Given that I am far from standing in a war zone as a victim or peacemaker, I would like to get involved more in my immediate community by volunteering to help others with more challenging life experiences and circumstances. I am grateful for what I have, especially food , a roof on my head, and a loving community and families around me. With that being said, I would like to be leading each day with more gratitude and empathy by committing to help with challenges in my community.

In these pictures , I am part of a team at a transition house project for the homeless preparing and serving meals to all residents. I share this just in case wherever you live you are wondering of a role you might play to help your community— the path to better days might be within your hands.
