Normally, I would not post pictures like this. Cakes in boxes in poor light but I barely got everything done this week. It took a couple days to even consider baking again, or posting about it for that matter. How can we think about sweets and parties when it feels like the world has crushed us? I will say that making adorable little teddy bears and bows were a welcome distraction from what is happening. The truth is that I know we need to keep creating and celebrating the joyous occasions. We may create with puffy, tearful eyes but if that will help someone else smile, then it is one thousand percent worth it because they are probably hurting as well. So, to my fellow bakers, photographers, planners, crafters, etc hope you keep doing what you do and let’s keep celebrating love and when we have to, link arms and fight like a mother******.
Also, thank you to for hosting a gathering that was also a little respite from the sadness. I love all the vendors and the staff and I’m just so grateful for all of you! 😘😘😘😘
