Today, Nicole and I (Holly) had our standing Thursday retreat call, which we’ve proudly been committed to for almost a year to chat all things retreats (BTW, we’ll be sharing about our next retreat real soon🤭)….

And anyway, we were chatting details, reviewing the new landing page, fine tuning things, and went on several tangents about boss babe life and such…I even learned about skills I didn’t know Nicole had and…well, an hour passed or more…then I realized — THIS, this is why I love to plan retreats for women in business!

It’s these conversations that validate every aspect of the things we do, the decisions we make, the skills we harness, the creativity we employ, that make our work-life go round. And — you can’t talk about it with just anyone. Your partner and friends aren’t typically dealing with the same issues you are as an entrepreneur, solopreneur, founder, exec, or a creative — which makes it hard to relate at times, ya know?

So, we go. We retreat to be seen, to listen, support, collaborate, share ideas, unplug, commiserate, celebrate, unwind, and remind ourselves of the importance, value, and JOY in why we do what we do.

It’s a honor and a privilege to be able to craft our way through this lifetime with the freedom to make our own way. And I’m so glad we get to retreat in between. Lucky us. ♥️—
