Time for some hot miso soup in this cold wet weather!

Friends I know and appreciate many of you who continue to support your local community restaurants but if you are able to do a personal pick-up or even if you need to use a delivery service please please DO NOT go through GrubHub.

After noticing a discrepancy between our sales with Grubhub and actual payout, we reviewed our statements only to realize GrubHub has been charging us 28% in fees!!! They were supposed to cap the fees at 10% during the state of emergency but have found a way to continue charging us higher fees under “marketing”, processing and delivery fees”

Please keep in mind a typical restaurant’s profit margins are generally 15-20%. Clearly there are many benefits for a restaurant to partner-up with these platforms, but how is any restaurant supposed to survive during a pandemic with these extremely high fees?!?

Please spread the word and stop using GrubHub until they reverse these fees and make right with the restaurant industry.

Restaurants Report Third-Party Delivery Apps Violating Portland’s Cap On Fees Grubhub and Postmates have been accused of charging restaurants more than the 10 percent commission fee allowed by the new city ordinance.
