JESUS Always

SOMETIMES YOU NEED HELP even to ask for My help. As you try to do several things at once, you find yourself moving faster and faster--interrupting one thing to do another. If your phone rings at such a time, your stress level rises even higher. The best way out of this turmoil is to STOP everything. Take a few deep breaths and whisper My Name. Acknowledge your need for My guidance through the moments of this day. I will lovingly lead you along paths of righteousness--for My Name's sake.
When you are preparing to do something challenging, you usually take time to enlist My help. But when you're facing everyday tasks, you tend to dive in unassisted--as if you can handle these matters alone. How much better it is to approach everything in humble dependence on Me! Whenever you find yourself in "diving" mode, ask Me to help you stop and seek Me--letting Me show you the way to go forward. I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.

Enjoying Peace in His Presence

I WANT YOU TO EXPERIENCE the riches of your salvation: the Joy of being loved constantly and perfectly. You make a practice of judging yourself, based on how you look, or behave or feel. If you like what you see in the mirror, you feel a bit more worthy of My Love. When things are going smoothly and your performance seems adequate, you find it easier to believe you are My beloved child. When you feel discouraged, you tend to look inward so you can correct whatever is wrong.
Instead of trying to “fix” yourself, fix your gaze on Me, the Lover of your soul. Rather than using your energy to judge yourself, redirect it to praising Me. Remember that I see you clothed in My righteousness, radiant in My perfect Love.

O Lord my Father in heaven!

You hear the prayers I cannot find the strength to speak. Though my heart is weary and my hope feels faint, Your faithfulness has not failed.

Search me, refine me, and do not let this sorrow be wasted. Guard me from bitterness, keep my feet from despair, and teach me to trust You when I cannot see the way ahead.

Breathe life into every place grief has left barren. Let my pain produce deeper faith, greater humility, and a stronger love for You.

I will praise You before the answer comes, because You are still worthy. I will wait for You, because Your steadfast love never changes.

You, Jesus, are my refuge, my portion, and my hope.

Amen.

Enjoying Peace in His Presence

WHENEVER YOU FEEL DISTANT from Me, whisper My Name in loving trust. This simple prayer can restore your awareness of My Presence.
My Name is constantly abused in this world, where people use it as a curse word. This verbal assault reaches all the way to heaven; every word is heard and recorded. When you trustingly whisper My Name, My aching ears are soothed. The grating rancor of the world’s blasphemies cannot compete with a trusting child’s utterance: “JESUS.” The power of My Name to bless both you and Me is beyond your understanding.
