Patient came in with left foot 4th and 5th metatarsal fractures. Patient had ORIF of 5th metatarsal. Both fractures healed with out any complications!

This patient came to Dr. Yamini with comminuted 5th metatarsal fracture. The patient wanted to get back to impact activity and decided to have surgical intervention. They did have osteopenic bone noted during surgery with comminution of the fracture. This did not alow for plate fixation. Patient’s fracture was reduced with k-wire fixation in this case. They are now back to regular activity with out any pain!
