BIOGRAPHY:

Formed in 2013 by frontman Klay Patrick Fennema, the band has performed well over a thousand shows to date and has had the honor of sharing stages with the following Mega Artists: Dokken, Jackyl, Warrant, Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, Kip Winger of Winger, Stryper, Great White, Saving Abel, Tom Keifer of Cinderella, LA Guns, Vixen, Krokus, and Faster Pussycat. Known for years as a cover band, the group's ultimate goal was to write and record a record and release it for their longtime fanbase. In 2018 the pieces came together and band released a 4 track EP titled "Sunday Cruisin'" which quickly became a local hit in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. Immediately following this milestone, Trixy Tang went back to Memphis, TN. to record their full length self-titled album "Trixy Tang" which was released in the Spring of 2019 and included the track "Mother Mary" which was written by Klay for his late Mother's passing in 2013 due to terminal brain cancer. The 2019 album landed in the Top 10 Best Albums in 2019 by SleazeRoxx Magazine out of Toronto, Canada. Trixy Tang has been voted The #1 Best Cover Band in West Michigan R***e Magazine several times running, as well as being voted The #1 Best Original Band in R***e Magazine 2019 Readers Poll. As of 2025, the group is very active performing between 50-75 shows all throughout Michigan and surrounding States.
