Power Up Packs

Power Up started in November of 2013 with eight kids from one Portage Elementary School. We have grown tremendously and God has blessed our efforts every step of the way. We are currently serving over 360 students in ten Portage Public Schools. We send home kid friendly meals in backpacks on the weekends for kids who struggle to have enough to eat when they are not at school.

We need a few more helping hands for Power Up!
Each week we pack weekend food bags for local students who may not have enough to eat when they’re not in school. It’s a small time commitment that makes a big difference.
We pack Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, and it usually takes about 40 minutes. It’s quick, easy, and a great way to give back to our community.
