Are You Being Authentic or Just Being Approved? A few weeks ago, I had a breakthrough. The kind that does not arrive as a eureka moment, but it rearranges everything in my thought processes.

Last Sunday, I had the honor of attending a beautiful birthday celebration for two extraordinary World War II veterans, Richard Rossi, celebrating his 102nd birthday, and Levant Bender, celebrating his 100th.

Together, these men represent more than two centuries of life, sacrifice, and American history.

To reach 100 years old is remarkable. To do so after serving our nation during World War II, the “Greatest Generation,” is truly extraordinary.

Everyone, please wish Mr Richard Rossi and Mr Levant Bender a very happy birthday, two American heroes.
