More progress being made on the hardtail. Little by little. Between working full time and having a family and having to fabricate a lot of stuff from scratch as well as ordering parts and sourcing vintage stuff it’s taken a bit but it’s nearly there!

Been awhile since I posted anything. Moved to florida, been working a lot and spending time enjoying life and spending time with my wife. Finally got the old iron out of the trailer and started the process of dismantling for the hard tail frame swap, and subsequent chopper build. I’ve thought long and hard and I think I’m gonna build this to be a sketchy rat bike, with well worn and loved look. The more original patina the better. No I’m not gonna be a goon and intentionally flash rust the tins. That’s lazy. But I think better yet to keep the original paint from the chopper tins I have (looks to be some classic single stage from the 70s with metal flake, which fits the idea I want and is less work for me since the tins are in great shape for their age. The hardest part will be fabricating some cool custom parts and im stoked about that. Yes it is kick start only and right hand shift, already planning out a jockey shift. Stay tuned!
