Made To Yield
We have a great group gathering this THIS Saturday, June 27th at 1 pm for an Artful Yielding workshop. If you don't have weekend plans yet, there is still time to register. This workshop is a beautiful way to unplug from your regular life and plug into connection and creativity with God.

Who can relate? Sometimes we go through seasons that make connecting in God's Word's challenging. This strategy has been a gift to me.

Do you long for connection with God? Is your prayer life feeling a bit lacking? If so you're invited to the forest to pray and create. These art and prayer workshops were crafted with love. My desire is to add a tool to your prayer tool belt so that you can have a fun and meaningful way to talk with God. My life has been changed by it and I long to share it with you. đź©· Check bio for ticket info.

I've been contemplating the writings and artwork of Lilias Trotter in her work, "Parables of the Cross" written in 1895. The book, illustrated by her art, is all about death to self and self-sacrifice which is a subject that doesn't get a lot of attention in modern American churches where comfort is king. I am challenged by and inspired by her life, her writing and her artwork. I had her lesson of the buttercup in mind when I made this little work yesterday.

Registration is open for two Artful Yielding Workshops: June 27 or July 18. My bio has the info needed to register.
Workshop Description: Artful Yielding is an art devotional gathering where women reflect on God’s Word through prayer and creativity. Erin gently guides participants through a passage of God’s Word. She’ll offer prompts to help participants notice the Spirit’s movement in her heart. In an open-ended creative exercise, each woman creates a prayer postcard using watercolor, collage, and other materials. Samples and structure will be provided for those who want guidance. Each participant will receive a postcard stand for her prayer card so she can continue her conversation with the Lord.
If you have attended one of my workshops would please drop a comment about your experience to encourage someone who is on the fence?
The daisies have begun to burst forth again, which means it's time for the throw back reel of my favorite quote by G.K. Chesterton.
Anybody else with a brain on overload? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Here is a prayer for us. 💜
