Delighted to visit the Broadview at Purchase College garden with the summer technicians. We got to see all the biodiversity that can grow when you install a sturdy deer fence (vs our garden where we let the deer graze but sometimes they like a plant a bit too much).
As the technicians are out making real progress at the study site, things are definitely changing. While you will see big parts of trees turning brown, this is actually because we are cutting the vines that are strangling them. This will allow the tree underneath to hopefully survive!
