Most signs don’t fail because they look bad… They fail because of these 3 things:
1.) Poor visibility
If people can’t see your sign from a distance or while driving by, it’s already lost. Visibility and placement are the biggest drivers of whether a sign gets noticed at all.
2.) It’s hard to read on the go
You have a few seconds (if that). If your sign isn’t clear, high-contrast, and easy to read quickly, people won’t process it. Simple always performs better.
3.) It doesn’t feel on-brand
Inconsistent signage creates confusion and lowers trust. Strong, consistent branding is what makes a business feel established and recognizable.
