Pro Tech Tip!!!

Make sure you use blue Loctite on ALL your air cleaner bolts especially the 3 Allen bolts that hold the backing plate to the carburetor or throttlebody!

If you do not, they will slowly back out and get sucked into the motor and end up, destroying your combustion chamber, valves, pistons, and maybe even bending a connecting rod.

So far, I think we’ve had about 10 sets come into the shop to be repaired.
