🎆 REMINDER: Fireworks Are Prohibited in Ponce Inlet & on Volusia County Beaches 🎆

As you celebrate the Fourth of July, please remember that fireworks are not permitted within the Town of Ponce Inlet or on any Volusia County beach.

🐢 This ordinance helps protect nesting sea turtles and shorebirds.
🐾 It also reduces stress on pets and other animals.
We encourage everyone to be mindful of veterans and others who may be affected by loud explosions.

📞 To report a fireworks violation, call Volusia County Dispatch (non-emergency) at 386-248-1777.

🚔 Response agencies include:
• Beachside areas – Volusia County Sheriff's Office
• Within Ponce Inlet town limits – Ponce Inlet Police Department
• On the waterways – FWC and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office

🎇 You may hear fireworks from nearby celebrations in New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange, where fireworks displays are permitted within their city limits.
