Karla Magaña – A 2023 Bengal Bridge student at Idaho State University majoring in Accounting with an anticipated graduation in May 2027.
Tara L. Young – Professor of Costume Design and Department Chair for the Theatre & Dance Department at Idaho State University. With more than 20 years at ISU, she leads costume design for mainstage productions while mentoring student designers and teaching courses in makeup, costume design, and production. Her recent work includes productions such as American Dream, Deadman Walking, Marisol, and The Little Prince, along with presentations at the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival. She also serves as an adjudicator for Idaho’s Patty Duke Awards and state drama competitions while overseeing hiring, curriculum development, and accreditation preparation.
Steve Morton – Assistant Principal at Highland High School. He earned a BA in Secondary Education (English major, Spanish minor) in 1996, followed by an MA in Educational Leadership (2000), an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration (2012), and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership (2021). After beginning his career as a high school teacher, he moved into administration and has served students from Pre-K through high school. In the coming years, he plans to retire from K–12 education and teach at the college level to help prepare future educators.
