🚨 URGENT PLEA FOR HELP!!!

Today we are taking Donald, a sweet little 6 week old kitten.. and Max, our newly rescued 13 year old doggo, to the vet.

Donald came to us at 3 weeks old, and near death. His eyes were so infected they were sealed shut, and he was nothing but skin stretched over bone. After 2 rounds of antibiotics, he has finally made a turn for the better! He is gaining weight, his eyes are clear (though still a bit watery), and now has an amazing appetite.

That being said, he has also developed a BIG tummy. This is scary, because it could be a symptom of FIP. We are having his stomach fluid aspirated to see if it’s consistent with FIP fluid, and if it’s positive will be treating him for it right away!

Then there’s Max. At 13 years old, he came to us with a partially collapsed trachea, and all loose teeth 🥺 It is extremely painful for him to eat…and it’s made even worse by his sore throat from coughing all the time.

Both need immediate treatment of at least medication, and Max may need surgery (if he qualifies).

Please, if you’re able, help us cover these two veterinary visits and testing. Donald can 100% survive if we catch it now and begin treatment! And Max will have the chance to live his golden years pain free.

🌟 We have been getting a lot of messages asking about Baby Isabella, and how she’s doing…

1. She’s quite the snuggler, and needs to be laying on, sitting on, sleeping on, or at the very least touching her human in some way shape or form.

2. She is VERY curious about phones, and the sounds and visuals that come from them.

3. She remains underweight, however is gaining a little bit every single day.

4. We are still giving subq fluids once a day, but her dehydration is getting quite a bit better!

5. She is also getting daily probiotics, and other critical to good health vitamins…therefore getting really cute bouts of kitten energy for short times during the day.
