The “Less Lawn More Life” challenge, promoted by Doug Tallamy and our friends at , is making a noticeable difference around Archipelago Films! The small grassy area left unmowed in the front yard is now drawing out the rabbits to enjoy feeding every evening. New habitat, more diversity of plants and we’re appreciating being the hosts to more biodiversity and animals to watch. ,

Archipelago Films — an award-winning documentary company (Emmy and Sundance wins, an Academy Award nomination; work seen on IMAX screens, Netflix, HBO, PBS, and National Geographic) — and its nonprofit affiliate Arise Media are hiring a Production Assistant. It’s a hands-on role with broad exposure to independent documentary and environmental filmmaking, from the field to the edit room to the audience!
