Cakes by Remy

I’ve been making birthday cakes for my good friend’s granddaughter since she’s a little girl. Her passion for music was my inspiration for this 18th birthday cake. A simple black and white cake decorated with just musical notes made from edible lace mix pulled the design theme just perfectly.

Birthday cake for my beloved hubby. Everything here is edible. Box and wine bottle were made with fondant. Inside the box is mocha chiffon cake filled with dulce de leche and frosted in mocha flavored cream cheese frosting. For topping, I toasted sweetened shredded coconuts to add a bit of crunch to the soft cake.

I haven’t posted in a while. This was a cake that I lovingly made for dear friends of mine celebrating their golden wedding anniversary today. Gum paste flowers and leaves were painted with gold luster dust. Vanilla sponge cakes filled with peaches and crema.

Drip cake: vanilla chiffon cake topped and filled with fresh fruits and whipped mascarpone. A birthday cake for the November celebrants in my family.
