All hair ‘warms’ up, even if you don’t color it. For grey or actually white, hair, heat is the biggest ‘warmer’. It heat, earth’s atmosphere, weather, all cause damage that shows up as warmth. Red, orange, yellow, are warm colors. Violet, blue, green are cool colors, that balance out or cancel that warmth.
Using a heat protectant, and specific products, can limit that discoloration in grey or blonde hair.
