PRO DANCE by Prism Method

Last weekend, PRO DANCE Studios had the honor of hosting the first edition of Metro Moves: Free Salsa Class & Social Dance at the Wilshire/Fairfax Station Plaza as part of the celebrations surrounding the new Metro D Line extension in Los Angeles.

Through our “A New Color of Wellness” initiative, we are working to bring movement, wellness, and community engagement into public spaces across the city while raising awareness about the physical, mental, and social benefits of dance.

We are deeply grateful to the office of Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky for their support, and to Los Angeles Metro for the trust and collaboration in helping activate these new community spaces.

It was incredibly inspiring to see so many Angelenos come together through movement, music, and shared experience in the heart of the city.

This activation marks the beginning of an 8-week series of open-air salsa classes across the Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Brea station plazas, and we look forward to continuing to grow this initiative and its impact within the community.
