As many of you know, my son Ricardo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on June 2,2022. He is now in what is called the maintenance phase and is doing amazing! Without the help of our beloved nurses and child life specialists I don’t see how we would have made it through chemo/clinic visits.
He won’t be done with treatment until 2025 so we still have a long road ahead but as a small token of my appreciation towards our children’s child life I would like to start a toy drive this fall.
