I never thought I’d run 15K.

It always seemed like an impossible distance, something only seasoned runners did.

I had thought 5k was a crazy challenge at one point.

But I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge. The journey started with afternoon/evening runs, sore legs, and moments where I questioned if I had it in me.

Each run tested my endurance, but I kept pushing, reminding myself that progress happens one step at a time. When race day arrived, I felt the nerves, but I also felt ready. I had put in the work, and now it was time to prove it.

As the race began, the sun beat down, and my legs found their rhythm. The burn crept in, but I welcomed it meant I was pushing my limits.

Each mile was a battle against fatigue, doubt, and the voice in my head that once told me I couldn’t. But I kept moving, focused on the finish line.

When I finally crossed it at 1:32:56, exhaustion hit me, but so did a deep sense of pride.

This wasn’t just about running…

it was about proving to myself that no goal is too big when I commit to it. The 15K was just the beginning.
