Happy 4th of July from all of us at ACDS!

Today we celebrate our nation’s independence and a historic milestone, America’s 250th birthday. As we honor this special day, we’re reminded that the strength of our country comes from the many people and communities who make it a place where everyone belongs, the same value we strive for every day at ACDS.

Wishing our families, staff, supporters, and friends a memorable and safe Independence Day!

Thank you to the ACDS PTO for their generous donation to the agency. This donation represents a year of hard work from our Plainview families. Their collective efforts raise funds and awareness and make a measurable impact on the student and staff experience. We are so grateful to every one of our families who participated and shared in the PTO's activities. From the bottom of our hearts: Thank You!!

In honor of our 60th anniversary, ACDS will be posting testimonials from our constituents, alumni and staff about the agency's lasting impact, with the hope that we inspire future generations of families and supporters.

Deepest thanks to Chris and Kim Ruecker for advocating for ACDS to be the beneficiary of the Thomas Gamble STCC Golf Outing. We were grateful to be in such wonderful company and appreciative of the incredible generosity of all of the golfers, sponsors and dinner attendees.

ACDS is proud to be a member organization of the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. We share their belief that accurate, current medical information is critical for expecting and new families. People with Down syndrome deserve to be understood through facts and lived experience. ACDS supports access to current, trusted information for families and healthcare providers.

We stand in support of our loving, joyful, inclusive, accomplished community and encourage all of our self advocates and their families to continue to share their light with our world, which needs it so badly.

Prenatal & Newborn Pamphlet | Global Down Syndrome Foundation The Global Down Syndrome Foundation, the National Down Syndrome Congress, and the National Down Syndrome Society have teamed up to publish the third edition of the groundbreaking Prenatal & Newborn Down Syndrome Information Pamphlet, available in English, Spanish and Icelandic. The third edition
