Making others beautiful has been my lifelong passion. Over the years, I have added education and training to make this passion my vocation. After college, I received systematic training in grooming in Singapore as an in-service flight attendant for Royal Nepal Airlines. I also took part in beauty contests and won awards. I attended and obtained a diploma in herbal skin therapy under Shahnaz Hussai
n at her Women’s World International School in New Delhi, India. Then I obtained a cosmetology degree from Glamor Beauty College, Santa Ana, California, and passed the rigorous written and practical licensure exam of the Board of Cosmetology of the State of California. And at present, I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Illinois. I guarantee high-level professionalism and customer satisfaction in the services I offer in my eyebrow threading and herbal skin care salon. Born amidst the natural beauty of the Himalayan mountains in Nepal, I learned early the power of nature and its plants and tree–and how healing their roots, leaves and sap could be for the body and mind—and, not least, for human face and form. So, in New Delhi, I learned the power of herbs, roots and fruits to make human skin glow with beauty and confidence. In California, I learned the modern, Western scientific methods of cosmetics and cosmetic treatments of hair, skin and nails. But now, I focus on skin and hair removal. In my travels through Europe, the Middle East and Asian countries and decade-long residence in the United States, I have observed the beauty practices and needs of peoples of various regions and cultures of the world. In my efforts, therefore, I use, depending on my clients’ needs and wishes, diverse methods, ingredients and techniques of making my clients beautiful and look confident and happy.
