MADE at Plainfield
Traditional classrooms, hands-on learning and certifications will prepare today's workforce for jobs of the future.
Thanks to Toyota Material Handling Systems for choosing MADE@Plainfield as one of the locations for this year's Lift the Community Day!
Each year, Toyota provides associates with paid volunteer time, bringing teams together to support nonprofit organizations through hands-on service projects that strengthen the communities where they live and work.
Thanks to a true community partnership, Toyota associates assembled hygiene kits that will be distributed to Hendricks County teachers.
• Toyota Material Handling brought an incredible team of volunteers and provided financial support for the kit materials.
• Hendricks College Network coordinated the project by connecting partners, helping make the day possible, and matching Toyota's financial contribution through a portion of our ARPA grant.
• Teachers' Treasures planned the project, ordered the supplies, and guided volunteers through the kit assembly process.
• Vincennes University hosted the event in its warehouse at MADE and provided the space and operational support that helped everything run smoothly.
Together, these organizations demonstrate what's possible when businesses, education, and nonprofits work side by side to strengthen our community. Thank you to everyone who made this day such a success!
