FERAL CAT FOOTBALL SUFFERS A SETBACK DURING THE SEMI FINALS.
Bitoku "Crash" Neko , was wounded during the semi finals of "Feral Cat Football". The 20 pounder Neko Ichi (eech) and team mate Neko Ni (nee) body checked Bitoku into the back boards (the front window) as Bitoku was headed for the end zone (the top of the 5 foot cat tree). A Penalty flag was thrown and the half time laser-light show was canceled due to the injured player.
All players quickly abandoned the field and ran for cover due to the sound of breaking glass when Bitoku was body slammed through the window. This isn't the first window that the boys broke, but it was the first window a cat went through.
Bitoku suffered a head injury from refusing to wear protective head gear and led to his 15 stitches to his head and three in his paw.
Penalty flags were thrown, time-outs were given to all three players and each were fined, and still owe $42.50 for the repair to the window. They all have been forced to get jobs so as to help defray the cost of the $597 vet bill.
The Feral Cat Football league has never issued such stiff fines in their three years of existence. Something tells me that these fines won't hamper the players from taking the field again next season.
Though Bitoku was the only player who had to wear the cone-of-shame, the other two players should have had to suffer the same consequence... and still might... Official Ruling Pending.
