As Pride Month comes to a close, we want to recognize the ongoing importance of acceptance, support, and belonging for LGBTQ+ youth—not just in June, but year-round. Research shows that LGBTQ+ youth who have at least one accepting adult in their lives experience better mental health outcomes and are less likely to attempt su***de. For youth in the child welfare system, that consistent support can be especially critical.

At KidsVoice, we are committed to advocating for LGBTQ+ youth in foster care by ensuring their voices are heard, their rights are protected, and they have caring adults they can rely on. Pride Month may be ending, but our dedication to providing support, stability, and advocacy continues every day.
